Visiting a “new” church can be uncomfortable. We want you to feel right at home. Upon your arrival you will be greeted by individuals who want to make your visit the first of many. Listed below are some FAQ’s that we wanted to help you with in order to make your visit a great experience.
What should I wear?
Odds are if you are comfortable, you are probably just fine. What you wear really isn't that big of a deal. Most people at our church wear jeans, or dress slacks. You might see an occasional suit and tie on Sundays.
What is the service like?
We come together to celebrate and worship our Savior, Jesus Christ. There will be a blend of music styles ranging from traditional hymns to old familiar praise choruses and some more recent contemporary songs of Worship!
What type of people will I meet there?
You will encounter a building filled with imperfect people that are young, old and in between. People who struggle with the stress of attempting to live a life that reflects Christ in a cold harsh world. You will find families of all different shapes, sizes, and ethnic backgrounds. Some of these families are doing okay, while others are going through emotionally hard times facing: military deployments, divorce and separation issues, and troubled teens. NBSBC is a family, it is a faith family. We care for one another like our own family, we laugh together, cry together, and celebrate accomplishments together. We use our time together to grow in our relationship with Jesus and fellowship with one another, and we have room for you too. The only thing we ask is that you please remember that we have faults and are trusting totally upon the Grace of Jesus Christ for our forgiveness and salvation.
There are many more topics that could be addressed, but we feel these few will help you with your first visit to NBSBC. Would you like to know more? Please take a look at the other pages in our web site or feel free to Contact us. We look forward to your visit!
